Women Working Employment Support Project

We currently have a project at Women’s Help Centre to help women living in the Perry Barr constituency of Birmingham, into work. It is called the Women Working Employment Support Project and is based at 321 Rookery Road.

This is a free service to help you find a job.

So if you are receiving the following benefits for yourself or as part of a joint claim with your partner:

  • Job Seekers Allowance
  • Income Support
  • Incapacity Benefit
  • Employment & Support Allowance

 We can help you:

  •  to create your personal action plan to move forward with your life
  • to search for jobs and access new vacancies
  • to complete application forms
  • to create a Curriculum Vitae – if you’re not sure what to put or if it is packed too full, we can help to amend
  • interview techniques
  • basic skills including ESOL, basic computers and IT, First Aid
  • coaching and mentoring

We have a holistic, one to one guidance service which is aimed at ensuring that you have the time to talk to an adviser to help you to improve your life. This is a women only centre, where you can bring your children.
